About

Yoga:

The word Yoga means union – To unite  our  mind, body, breath and spirit into balance, harmony and better health.

When practiced regularily Yoga invigorates our physical, mental and emotional energy.  Releasing muscular tension, improving our posture, flexibility, strength and range of motion.

The different  physical and mental practices of Yoga  create awareness  and an opportunity for a deeper  connection to our inner world, inspiring emotional  well-being and physical strength.

Asana:

The physical science of Yoga alignes and strengthens your posture, increasing your flexibility, strength and stamina. Massaging and cleansing your internal organs, detoxifying your whole body.

Pranayama:

Breath control expands your life force (breath) , increasing your vitality and energy by exercising your lungs and diaphragm. Promoting a calm and focused mind.

Nidra:

Guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra) restores your nervous system, rests your internal glands and organs, relaxes your muscles, tendons and ligaments. Learning to relax our whole self, learning to quieten the mind while resting the whole physical body.

The teaching style at Yoga Ways has been influenced by Yoga Masters:

Sri. B.K.S.Iyenger (Iyenger tradition).

Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga tradition).

Swami Satyananda Saraswati (Satyananda tradition).
