General Instructions for Practice: The studio is a shoe free zone, please leave your shoes at the door. To gather energy and create greater harmony and balance in your practice -

  • Always keep your face and neck relaxed.
  • Increase your circulation by stretching out into the fingers and toes.
  • Create greater core strength by maintaining a gentle contraction of the lower abdominal muscles by pulling the navel towards the spine.
  • Wear loose comfortable clothing that won’t restrict your movements.
  • Ashtanga practitioners, please bring a small towel.
  • Try not to eat for at least 3 hours prior to class.
  • Turn your mobile phone off and collect any equipment you may need for class.
  • Once you have entered the studio respect the space and fellow students by setting up quietly.
  • Before class begins rest in reclined butterfly pose, pose of the child, or legs up the wall.
  • Advise the teacher of any health concerns, which may affect your yoga practice.
  • Advise the teacher if you do not wish to be adjusted in class.
  • Advise the teacher if for any reason you need to leave the class early.
  • When leaving the class please return all equipment neatly, remember to collect all your belongings.
  • Let the teacher know if you have any concerns regarding the class.
  • To respect the space and your fellow students please do attend class if you are unwell.

Administration:

  • Full fees are due at the commencement of each course. We accept cash or cheque only. 
  • Please be aware there are no cash refunds.  Missed classes may be made up in any other class over the 6 week period.
  • All courses run for 6 weeks. 
  • The studio is closed for Public Holidays.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances a class may be cancelled.  Please phone the studio to confirm the current timetable.
