Yoga Ways Teachers are qualified and insured, or are under an apprenticeship. They are dedicated Yogis integrating not only into their teaching, but their way of life the ancient disciplines, philosophies and science that is Yoga. Teaching with integrity, honesty and humour to support and challenge each student. Respecting each individuals journey of positive change in a non-competitive environment.
Mardi
Mardi gained her teachers accreditation at the Satyananda Yoga Academy in 1992 and has continued her studies in different Yoga traditions both in Australia and Internationally with Yoga Masters: Simone Borg-Oliver Yoga Synergy (Anatomy & Physiology). Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Mysor India (Ashtanga). Clive Sheridan (Hatha). Rodney Yea (Iyengar). Shandor Remit (Iyengar). Donna Farhi (Vinyasa). David Life New York (Jivamukti). Mardi is the inspiration and director of Yogaways Studio. Mardi has taught both Nationally and Internationally gainning her teaching experience in both Hatha and Ashtanga traditions in New Zealand, Bali, Nepal, India and Bhutan. I am grateful too and remain always a student to the ancient science of Yoga and its trans-formative power to bring us to our full potential and the understanding our true nature.
Siân
Siân began practicing Yoga in 2001 at Yoga Ways. Initially, she chose to practice Yoga to help overcome a back injury that she sustained a few years prior. During Siân’s first Yoga class she realised that she had a lot more to gain from practicing Yoga than just creating strength and flexibility in her back. Since her first class, Siân has integrated Yoga into her daily activities and is continually amazed by the personal growth and benefits that she has witnessed throughout her journey. Sian began an apprenticeship at Yoga Ways and formal teacher training at the Mangrove Yoga Academy in 2003, and has now completed her training and teachers both Hatha and Ashtanga classes.
Kim
Kim began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in Encinitas, California with Tim Miller in 1992. On returning to Australia in 1995, she began teaching in Brisbane and then in rural NSW. Kim moved to the Central Coast in 1998 with her son Zarac. Study is continuous with her love for workshops and yoga practice with highly regarded teachers both in Australia and overseas. Kim holds an IYTA Diploma in Yoga and is passionate about the benefits of this age-old tradition. She teachers both Hatha and Ashtanga classes.
Melissa
Is a trained Yogarts teacher and qualified Psychologist who moved to the Central Coast in 2007. Melissa brings a fresh and exploratory energy to her classes and teaches both the Hatha and Ashtanga classes.
Jodi
Is a teaching apprentice, qualified Journalist and new mother to baby Che. Jodi is currently completing her teacher training at the Satyananda Yoga Academy Mangrove Mountain and will focus her teaching in the Pre and Post Natal classes.
